India is a diverse country. There is โUnity In diversityโ.
Diversity is in everything but unity in humanity. This is the keystroke of our country.
A lot of people came from different places and gain knowledge and spread it to others . As a result , different religions ,
costumes ,
rules ,
languages ,
so on are present .

Lets explore our knowledge .
Lets start with different religions present in india .
In today blog , we only discuss little bit about the Buddhism religion

BUDDHISM
INFACT ,Whenever we talk about Buddhism , a name come in our mind.that is of lord Buddha. So take a look on lord buddhaโs life and how he give concept of Buddhism .

LORD BUDDHA
Lord Buddha was born in 563 BC in Lumbani. His fatherโs name was Suddhodhana and his motherโs name was Maya. Buddhaโs wife name was Yasdodhara and his son name was Rahul.
Buddha was living a normal married life. But one fine day he interfaces with suffering an old man and he saw a dead body.This particular thing lead him to leave his home. He became Parivyagak . Who follows Shravana tradition. This whole phase is given the name Renunciation.
For five years,he kept wondering from place to place . At the age of 35, near the bank of river Niranjana, under the Bodhi tree . There he attained Nirvana.
After Nirvana, Buddha preached his first ceremony at Dhamaka stupa in Sarnath {made by Ashoka}.This particular event is known as Dharma Chakra parivation [turning the wheel of religion].

TWO IMPORTANT DOCTRAINS OF BUDDHA
He gave two important doctrains:-
1.Four noble truth
2. Eight fold path

FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS
1.Dukha {Life is full of suffering }
2.Cause {Cause of suffering : desire}
3.Remedy {Cause of desire must be overcome}
4.Path {When desire is overcome, there is no suffering}

EIGHT FOLD PATHS
1.Samyakdristi
Perception of reality (as it is)and not merely it appears to be.
2.Samyaksankap
Focussed determination on achieving liberation.
3. Samyakalp
Speaking in rights,truthful,honest,manner.
4. Samyakkammanta
Acting in a way that does not cause harm to others.
5. Samyakjeevana
Right others livelihood.
6.Samyakvyajama
Training both mind and body in order to improve self.
7. Samyaksmriti
Awarness to see overself.
8. Samyaksamadhi
Following right path that lead to Nirvana.

Gautam Buddha name was given to Prince Siddharata when he achieved Nirvana by his followers and Buddha means the awaken one. Buddha after provides ideological framework to his followers attain Mahapari Nirvana[final blow out] i.e death in 483 BC in Kushinagar,U.P .
Buddha was cremated at Ramabhar stupa and his relix was kept at a temple in Kushinagar.

BUDDHIST COUNCILS
After death of Buddha, his follower convey first Buddhist council at place called Rajagriya in 483 BC itself in Bihar.
This Buddhist council was precided by Buddhist scholar. That is by Mahakashyap and patronised by contemporary King Ajathshatru .
Two important books were compiled in this council:-
1. Sutta-Pitaka :- It contains original teaching of the Buddha.
2. Vinaya Pitaka:- It contains rules to be followed by Buddhist monks.
2nd Buddhist council in 383 BC at Vaishali in Bihar. It was precided by Buddhist Scholar SAbakami . And patronised by contemporary king Kalashok. In this council,there happened the informal divisions of followers into two sets:- Sthavardins and Mahasangvikash
3rd Buddhist council was covered in 250 BC at Patliputra. It was precided by Mugaliputratism . And patronised by The Ashoka. It was the most important Buddhist council. New text was written known as Abhidhamma pittaka. It contains philosophical teaching of Buddha.
All three pittaka are known as Tri-pittaka which is sacred looks of Buddhism.
- Ashoka tooks a front for rule to propagate Buddhism . Not only in India but in other countries also. He sent his son Mahendra and daughter Sanghamitra to Sri lanka. He also sent many missionaries to South Asian region,Greece,Central Asia,Seria.
4th Buddhist council in 78 AD in Kashmir precided by Buddhist monk Vashu gupta and patronised by Kamishka.
- In this council, there was a formal split among followers of Buddhist saint:-
- The Hiyanan[orthodox follower]
- The Mahayan[liberal follower]
Hinayan does not exist in world now.

THREE POPULAR SECTS OF BUDDHISM
- There are three popular sects of Buddhism which are most popuar in the contemporary times.
1.Thiravada.
2.Mahayan
3.Vajrayan
